Biography

An artist of intention, contrasts and curiosity, Jamie makes music resonating with the heart at the meeting point of the archaic revival and innovation. He is driven by inspiration, healing, grieving and elevating.

With a life deep in music, his credits include collaborations with many of London's finest jazz, folk and electronic artists, with whom he has performed in 30 countries in 4 continents, as well as making appearances on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 3, Radio 6, TRT, Worldwide FM, NTS, Jazz FM, Resonance and many more. 

Jamie has performed at countless music festivals including WOMAD, Glastonbury Festival, Pitchfork Chicago and sold out London venues such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and Jazz Cafe.
 
Jamie is also a bass teacher with more than 10 years of one to one bass tuition experience, as well as experience running workshops in schools and universities. He completed his Masters in music performance at Goldsmiths University in 2024 and has also studied various instruments and styles of music with a number of incredible and diverse artists outside the realms of institution and academia.
